Introduction

The grade five band, in its current form,  has been competing and performing since 2001 and is designed as a “starter” band for pipers and drummers new to the competitive band scene.

The grade five band is taught by members of the 78th Highlanders grade one competition band. This year, the piping instructors are Liz Drury and the drumming instructor is Ben Harrison.
