The Halifax Citadel National Historic Site is pleased to offer fun and educational programming for teachers interested in unique field trip excursions.

“Citadel School Days” -  allows students to learn about Victorian lifestyle by having them assume roles of the era to become pupils in the Citadel’s regimental school. Under the direction of our costumed Schoolmaster or his assistant students sample the dress, behaviour, materials and lessons from that bygone time. Designed for easy use by teachers this package provides for the curriculum, classroom and on site experience to make this a truly memorable lesson.

• Suitable for Grades 4 through 6 this program is available upon booking arrangement with Visitor Services year round.
