The grade four band, in its current form, has been competing and performing since 2006 and is designed as a “learning” band for pipers and drummers.

The grade four band is taught by members of the 78th Highlanders grade one competition band. This year, the piping instructor is Geoff Peladeau and the drumming instructor, David Kershaw.
