Summer Employment
Each year the HCRA hires approximately 70-80 men and women at the high school, community college and university level from Halifax and across Canada to assist in the operation and delivery of programming at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site of Canada. If you are interested in joining our summer team please phone (902) 426-1990 for details of our Military Interpretation, Visitor Services and Retail positions.

The HCRA is always accepting resumes for summer positions in the following sections:

• Military Interpretation: Become a member of the 78th Highlanders and 3rd Brigade Royal Artillery living history program
• Visitor Services: Provide visitor reception, ticket sales and guided tours in French (bilingual requirement)
• Retail: Join our gift shop and food services team
