Established on July 10, 1993, the Halifax Citadel Regimental Association (HCRA) is a non-profit, charitable organization which, in partnership with Parks Canada, supports programming at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site (NHS) of Canada.

Parks Canada is a federal agency which operates a network of national parks, national historic sites, and national marine conservation areas across Canada. The agency endeavours “to protect and present nationally significant examples of Canada’s natural and cultural heritage, and foster public understanding, appreciation and enjoyment in ways that ensure their ecological and commemorative integrity for present and future generations.”
