Every year, the HCRA hires approximately 70 to 80 men and women from high schools, community colleges and universities from Halifax and across Canada to help operate and deliver programming at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site. If you are interested in joining our summer team, please phone (902) 426-1990 for details of our Military Interpretation, Visitor Services and Retail Positions.

The School of Piping and Drumming offers year-round instruction in piping and drumming for all levels of playing proficiency.

Ghost
Tours

We are happy to provide a private guide for your group at any time of the year. Begining at sunset, the guide will dedicate 70 minutes to introducing your group to the  side of Citadel Hill rarely shared with visitors.
